Carbon Neutral Broadband

The Details

Our broadband supplies been audited and approved by The Carbon Neutral Company, this milestone represents a key part of the ISP's drive to reduce the environmental impact of its broadband business. To calculate its carbon footprint, the broadband was measured on an extensive range of factors from electricity consumption through business travel and deliveries to commuting by employees. Although many organisations do not take the carbon cost of commuting on board when calculating carbon emissions, it accounts for a significant proportion of any company's CO2 outputs.

As part of its carbon offsetting program, the broadband provider is investing in wind farm technologies in India, a methane capture project in Pennsylvania and a Ugandan forestry project. All projects are designed not only to reduce carbon dioxide but also to support the local economies.

As part of our environmental commitment we offer ebilling to our customers, although some customers require a invoice to be printed for accounting purposes (whatever happened to a paperless office!). By emailing the invoice this saves a wasted envelope and C02 emissions generated from the transport of that invoice.

We also offer a online management analyst tools to give you the control you need over your telecom's expenditure.
